Sarah Milne and Julia Stewart established Ann Inspired Care in 2014. We are both registered nurses with a combined 30 years of nursing experience. We each have Diplomas and BSc Degrees in Adult Nursing. We have obtained our Leading and Managing Care Services awards.
We provide care to the elderly, adults with physical disabilities and also have a special interest in caring for people with Dementia. We are Dementia Friends, Dementia Ambassadors and implement the ‘Promoting Excellence Framework for Dementia’ when training staff.
We have a personal insight into the care at home business and this has highlighted the huge demand for care at home and the need for high standards of good quality, person-centred care.
We are motivated by the desire to maintain independence and allow Clients to remain within their home environment for as long as possible. Our sole purpose is to deliver a service that provides an exceptionally high standard of care to meet the individual needs of the Client in a manner that provides individual care, expertly delivered.

How Ann Inspired Care Began
Ann Inspired Care is committed to assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating a high standard of care to meet and fulfil the needs of all of the clients that we support. We will make the care of people our first concern, treating them as individuals and respecting their dignity. We will work with others to protect and promote the health and wellbeing of those in our care, their families and carers, and the wider community.
In order to provide this exceptional service we aim to create a team of loyal, highly trained and dedicated employees who will provide outstanding care and feel valued and supported while doing so. We are able to achieve this utilising a robust recruitment policy to ensure that the process is free from bias and discrimination and applicants are of the calibre required by Ann Inspired Care. We recruit in line with Care Inspectorate and Scottish Social Services recruitment guidelines to ensure the safety and well-being of our service users. Our vetting process includes positive reference checks from previous employers and Protection of Vulnerable Groups’ membership through Disclosure Scotland. Thereafter, all staff will be provided with excellent training opportunities and supervision, ensuring that our staff are the best that a care service can provide.
If you believe that our philosophy and objectives align with the ethos of the care you provide, we would welcome your application to our dynamic and supportive company. We value all staff and recognise that our staff are integral to achieving our philosophy and objectives.
